My Story of Addiction, Arrest, Redemption, and a Life Rebuilt by God’s Grace
For years, I lived two lives. Outwardly, I was a husband, father, and ordinary working man. Privately, sexual addiction had become a cycle of secrecy, fantasy, acting out, and despair.
In November 2003, that hidden life collapsed with my arrest. But between my arrest and incarceration, something else happened:
I stopped fighting God.
The Beast Is Not Your Master tells what happened next—not as a story of instant deliverance, but of more than twenty years learning what Christian freedom actually looks like.
The book combines personal story with practical biblical teaching about addiction, temptation, identity, accountability, failure, consequences, grace, and long-term recovery. It takes addiction seriously without using addiction as an excuse and keeps Jesus Christ at the center of genuine freedom.
The completed manuscript is currently being considered for publication.

New Creature Ministries is being developed as a place for biblical teaching, articles, and resources for people struggling with sexual addiction and habitual sexual sin, as well as for those who love and walk beside them.
The goal is not to offer easy answers or promises of instant victory. It is to speak honestly about temptation, failure, consequences, recovery, and grace—and ultimately to point toward the One who can do what willpower alone cannot.
